How To Apply to 530 West 45th Street
 

1. Download and fill out your application,  available here. 

2. Request Third-Party Verifications (must be sent directly to  Leasing@530West45.com.  from entity):

a. Each one of your employers will need to fill out and send  this employment verification form. 

b. Each one of your banking institutions will need to fill out  this asset verification form. 

i. Remember to send one asset form to each bank you have an account with.

c. Your current landlord will need to fill out  this landlord verification form. 

3. Submit your documents to  leasing@530West45.com. :

a. Signed  credit check waiver form  and valid government-issued ID for all household members over the age of 18.

b. For household members who are over the age of 18 and full time students, provide a letter from the registrar’s office stating full time student status.

c. Birth certificate for all household members under the age of 18.

d. Last 4 consecutive paystubs

e. 2015 Federal and State taxes.

i. Note – if you are self-employed, or have more than one job, your 2015, 2014 and 2013 taxes are required.

f. Corresponding wage and income transcript for all required tax years, available on the  IRS website .

g. A financial statement for each asset account you have, including but not limited to:

i. IRAs and 401(k)s

ii. Money market, trading or securities accounts

h. Latest award letter of Social Security Benefits showing award amount and frequency.

i. Latest statement for any pensions and annuities showing distribution amount and frequency.

j. If you currently own a home, please note that program guidelines prohibit applicants from owning their primary residence. If you own your home and live in it, you will not be eligible for this program. If however you own a rental property, please supply the following information:

i. The most recent mortgage statement showing your name, if applicable.

ii. Current lease showing your name if there are tenants.

iii. Appraisal of market value of home (print out from website Zillow/Trulia).

iv. Proof of ownership if your name is not on documents (a) or (b)

k. Court documentation for any alimony/child support.

l. Latest unemployment benefit letter if applicable.

m. Proof of any additional income not accounted for – recurring monetary gifts, assistance with rental payments or groceries, cash earnings from babysitting, etc.

4. Select your new home:

a. Once we receive your paperwork, we will contact you to schedule an appointment to select your new home if your household is eligible.
